Besides TruPrint systems, you can also obtain TRUMPF metal powders, which are suitable for your laser metal fusion process. The TRUMPF powders are perfectly adapted to the TruPrint system and will fulfill your highest quality requirements. KVT-Fastening also offers the appropriate parameter blocks and substrate plates for the powders on offer. You therefore receive a complete solution. The range includes, for example, powders from the areas of stainless steel, tool steel, cobalt-chromium, titanium, precious metals and bronze.

Aluminium alloys

Aluminium AISi10Mg-A LMF
Aluminium AlSi10Mg-A LMF is a pre-alloyed aluminium-based powder which has been designed and tested for use on TruPrint systems. The composition of parts created using this powder corresponds to the corrosion-resistant aluminium alloy 3.2381, and the chemical composition meets the requirements of the DIN EN 1706 standard.

Aluminium AISi12-A LMF
The pre-alloyed aluminium-based powder aluminium AlSi12-A LMF has been designed and tested for use on TruPrint systems. The composition of parts created using this powder corresponds to the corrosion-resistant aluminium alloy 3.2582. They fulfil the requirements of the DIN EN 1706 standard as regards the chemical composition and exceed them in their strength and hardness. This alloy cannot be hardened.

 

Stainless steels

Stainless Steel 316L-A LMF
Stainless steel 316L-A LMF is a pre-alloyed powder which has been designed and tested for use on TruPrint systems. The composition of parts created using this powder corresponds to the corrosion-resistant stainless steel 1.4404 (DIN X2CrNiMo17-12-2). They also fulfil the requirements of the DIN EN 10088-1 standard as regards their mechanical properties and chemical composition.

Stainless Steel 630-A LMF
Stainless steel 630-A LMF is a pre-alloyed powder which has been designed and tested for use on TruPrint systems. The composition of parts created using this powder corresponds to the precipitation-hardening martensitic stainless steel 1.4542 (DIN X5CrNiCuNb17-4 or 17-4PH). They also fulfil the requirements of the DIN EN 10088-1 standard as regards their chemical composition.

 

Cobalt-chromium alloys

BEGO Mediloy S-Co
Mediloy S-Co is a powder which is made from a CoCr-based alloy and has been developed specifically for use in dental technology. Mediloy S-Co is a Class IIa medical product in accordance with the European Medical Device Directive 93/42/EEC. TRUMPF offers this product in collaboration with BEGO. Mediloy S-Co has been tested and certified specifically for LMF applications with TRUMPF parameters on TruPrint systems. The alloy also corresponds to the ISO 22674:2006 (Type 4) and EN ISO 9693-1 standards.

Cobalt-Chrome CoCr-B

CoCr-B LMF is a pre-alloyed CoCr powder which has been designed and tested for use on TruPrint systems. Parts created using this powder fulfil the requirements of the ASTM-F75-12 standard as regards their mechanical properties and chemical composition.

 

Copper alloys

Bronze 90/10-A LMF
The pre-alloyed bronze powder Bronze 90/10-A LMF has been developed and tested for TruPrint systems. The composition of parts created using this powder corresponds to the corrosion-resistant bronze alloy with material specification number ISO CuSn10 according to DIN EN 1982.
 

Nickel-based allo

Nickel Alloy 718-A LMF
The nickel-based alloy 718-A LMF is a pre-alloyed nickel-based powder which has been designed and tested for use on TruPrint systems. The composition of parts created using this powder corresponds to the precipitation-hardenable nickel-chromium steel 2.4668 (DIN NiCr19Fe19Nb5Mo3). They fulfil the requirements of the UNS N07718 / AMS5662 and AMS5664 standards as regards their mechanical properties. This alloy also has very good tensile, fracture, fatigue and creep strength up to 650°C. 

Titanium alloys

Titanium Ti2-A LMF
Titanium Ti2-A LMF is a pure titanium powder which has been designed and tested for use on TruPrint systems. Its chemical composition fulfils the requirements of the ASTM F76 standard. Components created using Ti2-ALMF have a very good strength-to-weight ratio and good ductility.

Titanium Ti64 ELI-A LMF

Titanium Ti64 ELI-A LMF is a pre-alloyed Ti6Al4V powder which has been designed and tested for use on TruPrint systems. Parts created using this powder fulfil the requirements of the ASTM F136 standard as regards their mechanical properties and chemical composition. Legal regulations need to be observed in most countries in order to use this powder as a medical product for commercial applications.

 

Tool steels

Tool Steel 1.2709-A LMF
The tool steel 1.2709-A LMF is a pre-alloyed powder which has been designed and tested for the production of components on TruPrint systems. The composition of parts built up using this powder corresponds to the maraging tool steel 1.2709 (DIN X3NiCoMoTi 18-9-5) in line with the US standard AISI 18Ni (300) Maraging Steel. Components made from this steel are easy to process and can be polished to a high quality. They also have good thermal conductivity.

Tool Steel 1.2709-B LMF

The tool steel 1.2709-B LMF pre-alloyed powder has been designed and tested specifically for use on the TruPrint 3000. The composition of parts created using this powder corresponds to the maraging tool steel 1.2709 (DIN X3NiCoMoTi 18-9-5) in line with the US standard AISI 18Ni (300) Maraging Steel.
